Our gig at The Vic Salcombe has been moved from tonight (26Feb) to Saturday (28Feb).

We now have the first bookings from our spiritual home and sponsor The Victoria Inn in Salcombe. Hopefully the first of many this year. We’ll see you there.

Hello all. I haven’t posted for a while as things in general have been very quiet since Christmas. This years shanties started with a few of us giving a short presentation to the young pupils of West Charleton and West Alvington schools. The children enjoyed it and maybe we will see some of them singing shanties in the future.

After returning from a very successful first festival as Mizzen Link in St Ives we have had some gigs at Salcombe, Hope Cove and Aveton Gifford. Our final gig of 2025 will be at The Hope and Anchor, Hope Cove on Friday 19th December. We all look forward to seeing you again next year and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year

In line with our successful shanty nights at The Vic we have now been booked, thanks to our friends at St Austel brewery, for two gigs at The Hope and Anchor, Hope Cove. Come along and have a great night in beautiful surroundings.
